Wilma Joyce Pixley Rawls, 57, of the 400 block of S. High St., a retired secretary, died June 24, 1991, in a hospital. 

Mrs. Rawls, a native of Crewe, had retired from the Franklin YMCA after 18 years. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church and was secretary of the Franklin chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She was the widow of Charles C. Rawls. 

Survivors include two stepdaughters, Sheryl-Ann Rawls of Hawaii and Charla R. Darden of Franklin; a son, Chucky Whitley of Franklin; her mother, Lillie B. Pixley of Franklin; two sisters, Daphne P. Pond of Front Royal, Va., and Betty Jo Story of Colonial Heights; two brothers, Elmer Pixley of Chase City, Va., and W. Wayne Pixley of Franklin; and two grandchildren. 

The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Southampton Memorial Park by the Rev. John A. Siegle. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Wright Funeral Home and other times at the home of Charla Darden, 402 S. High St.
