GRACE LOUISE RIDDICK BOONE

SUFFOLK - Grace Louise Riddick Boone, 88, died Feb. 20, 2006. She was a
native of Suffolk and a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband of
43 years, Lloyd Piland Boone. She was a member of West Suffolk Baptist
Church and was the daughter of the late Grace Pritchard Riddick and
Wallace Council Riddick.
Survivors include a daughter, Harriet Ann Showalter of Midlothian, Va.;
sons and daughters-in-law, Wallace Porter and Edith B. Boone of Hampton,
Ga., David Lloyd and Diane R. Boone of Girard, Pa., and Raymond Lanier
and Setsuko Boone of Winters, Calif.; grandchildren, Tony Boone, Mark
Boone, Robin Calhoun, Susie Boone, Kenneth Boone, Dawn Mangon, Sandra
Libertino, Steve Boone, Tonya Brand and Robbie Tutton; and 11
great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home.
A funeral will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home by the
Rev. Lafayette T. Wilkins. Burial will be in Bethlehem Christian Church
Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O.
Box 1515, Suffolk, VA 23439.
