SUFFOLK  Rachel Robertson Small Rountree, 92, died Jan. 22, 2002. Born Oct. 12, 1909, in Mount Gould, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Patrick Henry and Flora Pierce Robertson and widow of Lycurgus Jerome Small. Mrs. Rountree was predeceased by her sons, Henry Malcolm Small Jr. and her granddaughter, Keely Dean Small. Mrs. Rountree formerly worked at Planters, was retired from J.C. Penney Co. and them worked for Barr Brothers Jewelers Co.

  Survivors include her sisters, Elsie Garrison of Chesapeake, Elizabeth Byrum of Corapeake, N.C., Gladys Andrews of Richmond, daughters-in-law, Mildred H. Small of Suffolk, Rita D. Small of Greensboro, N.C.; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
  A funeral will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. Cameron Currin with burial in Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.  Memorial donations may be made to the Eureka Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 68, Corapeake, N.C. 27926
