Obituary of WILLIAM HENRY SCOTT The Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, July 4, 1993 William Henry Scott, 59, of the 2300 block of Box Elder Road, died July 2, 1993 while vacationing in Boise, Idaho. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Scott was born in Oak City, N.C., son of the late Katherine Hale Scott and the late William Lawrence Scott. He retired in January of 1991 from Thomas J. Lipton, Inc. at Suffolk as a production foreman after 36 years of service. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Marie Daniel Scott; two daughters Patricia S. Hodges of Windsor, Va. and Lynn S. Emerson of Salem, Va.; two sons, William Lee Scott of Salem, Va. and Michael Allen Scott of Windsor, Va.; two stepsons Raiford E. Baker and Randy C. Tew, both of Suffolk; four sisters, Edna Earl S. Parker and Mary Catherine S. Turner, both of Scotland Neck, N.C., Olivia S. Wells of Smithfield, Va. and Teresa Ann Scott of Tarboro, N.C.; and one brother, John Daniel Scott of Tarboro, N.C.; and twelve grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Southampton Memorial Park , Franklin, Va. by Hershel Hill. The family will be at Sidney F.
