WINDSOR Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Umphlet, 71, of Route 3, died Thursday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Isle of Wight County and was a retired private duty nurse. She was a member of Colosse Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Phyllis E. Cash of Windsor; two sons, Ira J. Robertson of Virginia Beach and Eugene C. Robertson, Jr. of Dendron; one sister, Mrs. Mildred S. Richards of Windsor; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. Donald E. Trump. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
