Virginia Edwards Stockstill, 87, widow of Talmadge T. Stockstill, died March 12, 2003 in Sentara Norfolk Nursing Center. She was born in Franklin to the late Calvin W. and Mary Beach Edwards and attended High Street United Methodist Church. She was a former employee of Maryland Casualty Insurance Co. and The Virginian-Pilot, Norfolk. 

Survivors include her niece, Marilyn Edwards Kelleher and husband, Donald, of Virginia Beach; a great-niece, Carolyn Morton and husband, Thomas of Virginia Beach; a great-nephew, Edward Clyde Kelleher of Williamsburg; and two great-great-nephews, Christopher and Clay Morton, both of Virginia Beach. 

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today in Poplar Spring Cemetery with the Rev. C.C. Blythe officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Wright Funeral Home.
