Mr. Story was a native of Hansom and was the son of the late Cleveland and Sarah Askew Story. He was retired as a supervisor for Franklin Equipment Co. and was a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church. He was a charter member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Franklin Lodge (NU)1573, Knights of Pythians, Franklin Lodge, and Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 51, Portsmouth. Survivors include his wife, Elsie Revels Story; one son, Walter E. Story of Warrenton, Va.; one stepdaughter, Mary Virginia Beacham of Franklin; two grandchildren, Connie Story and Diana Story, both of Warrenton; two cousins, Wilson Story and Henry Story, both of Hansom. The funeral will be conducted at 2 P.M. Friday, May 27, 1994, in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Fridley officiating. The burial will be at Poplar Spring Cemetery.
