Obituary of Christopher Allen "Chris" Turner CHRIS ALLEN TURNER The Tidewater News - 09-15-2005 KILL DEVIL HILLS, N.C. - Christopher Allen "Chris" Turner, 16, died Sept. 12 at Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters. He was born in Suffolk and was a 10th grade student at First Flight High School in Kill Devil Hills, and a former student at Windsor High School. He loved music and writing poetry. Survivors include his mother, Amy Lawson Lemly and husband Randy of Wakefield; his father, Terry Warren "Duke" Turner and wife Barri of Kill Devil Hills; two sisters, Brittany Turner and Emily Miles; a half sister, Jennifer Turner; two brothers, Shane Lemley and Devon Kotel; maternal grandparents, Donna and Ted Lawson; paternal grandparents, Patricia and Clifton Turner; and two uncles, Brian Lawson and Tracey Turner. A funeral will be conducted Sept. 16 at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Basil L. Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park.
