Estelle Hearn Turner, 87, of Courthouse Highway, died Sept. 29, 2002, at her residence. 
  She was a native of Isle of Wight County and a housewife. Mrs. Turner was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Susanna Wesley Bible Class. 
  Her husband, John David "J.D." Turner Jr., preceded Mrs. Turner in death. 
  Survivors include a son, John David Turner III and his wife, Jennie; two grandchildren, Ann Turner Daniels and John David "Jay" Turner IV, all of Smithfield; and a great-granddaughter, Amber Daniels. 
  A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery, Carrsville, with the Rev. Harry Spear and the Rev. Robert Cofield officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 201 Cedar St., Smithfield, VA 23430 or to the Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 97, Smithfield, VA 23431-0097.
