Madeline Turner, 75, died Sept. 30, 1996, in Courtland Health Care Center. 

Miss Turner was a native of Isle of Wight County and was the daughter of the late William Henry and Elizabeth Garris Turner. She was a member of Colosse Baptist Church. 

She is survived by three brothers, M.A. ``Dickie'' Turner of Franklin, Leland G. Turner of Suffolk, Roland C. Turner of Windsor. She was predeceased by four brothers, Winfred E. Turner, William E. Turner, Jack R. Turner and James M. Turner. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Donald Trump. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Wright Funeral Home.
