Temperance Virginia Vaughan, 75, of the 400 block of Norfleet St., a retired office manager, died Feb. 7, 1992, in a hospital. 

Miss Vaughan was born in Southampton County and had retired from Southampton Memorial Hospital after 32 years. She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church, Order of Eastern Star 128, Franklin Women's Club and Walter Cecil Rawls Library and Museum. She was a graduate of the Webb School of Business. 

Survivors include three sisters, Sara V. Darden of Windsor, Eddie Mae V. Woods of Norfolk and Maggie L. Vaughan of Franklin. 

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Sycamore Baptist Church by the Rev. Reginald Warren. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Friends may join the family at 409 Norfleet St. Wright Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
