   FRANKLIN - Barbara Beaton Vick, 70, died Dec. 18, 2002 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Franklin, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Dorothy Holland Beaton. She was a graduate of Holland High School and a member of Franklin Church of God. 
  Survivors include her husband, Hugh Thomas Vick Jr. of Franklin; a son, Dennis Wayne Blythe Sr. of Franklin; a sister, Gloria B. Vick of Newsoms; a brother, Jerry H. Beaton of Edenton, N.C.; and a grandson, Dennis Wayne Blythe Jr. of Virginia Beach. 
   A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Faison and the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park . The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
