Christine Simmons Vick, 59, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1993, in a Portsmouth nursing home. 
Mrs. Vick was a native of Southampton Co. and was the daughter of the late Moncure and Lillie Dunlow Simmons. She was the widow of J. Raymond Vick, Sr. 
Survivors include one sister, Lucille Jenkins of Franklin and one brother, Samuel Simmons of Emporia; two stepdaughters, Dot Bailey of Courtland and Shirley Jaffe of Boykins; one stepson, Joe R. Vick, Jr. of Franklin. 
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, by Rev. Kenneth Williams. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin. Memorial donations may be made to the Christine S. Vick Memorial Fund, c/o The Bank of Franklin, P.O. Box 37, Franklin, Va. 23851.
