FRANKLIN - Hugh Thomas "Junior" Vick Jr., 66, died Dec. 15, 2005, at
Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Southampton County, he was a
son of the late Hugh T. and Lucy Lewter Vick and the widower of Barbara
Beaton Vick. Hugh was retired from the City of Franklin.
Survivors include three sisters, Addie Turner of Franklin, Shirley
Johnson of North Carolina and Kaye Piccola of New Jersey; one brother,
Clarence Vick of North Carolina; a stepson, Dennis Wayne Blythe Sr.; and
several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Wright
Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating. Burial will
follow at Southampton Memorial Park . The family will receive friends
from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
