He was a member of Newsoms United Methodist Church, Courtland Masonic Lodge No. 85, A.F.&A.M. and was a former member of Newsoms Ruritan Club. He was a 1957 graduate of Southampton High School. He is survived by his wife, Linda Nurney Vick; daughter, Carla Lynn Vick of Clayton, N.C.; sister, Betty Jean Everett and her husband, Marvin L. of Capron; and a brother, Bobby M. Vick and his wife, Margaret S. of Franklin. He was the son of the late Clyde and Juanita B. Vick. Graveside funeral services with Masonic rites will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollywood Cemetery , Newsoms , by the Revs. Derek Koolman, Kenneth Williams and Charlene Beethoven. Memorial donations may be sent to the Newsoms Volunteer Fire Department, c/o Bill Fowler, 28327 Cypress Bridge Road, Newsoms , Va. 23874. The family will be at the residence in Newsoms .
