Linwood Lee Vick, 81, died Jan. 23, 1997. 

Mr. Vick was born in Southampton County and was the son of the late Herbert F. and Carrie Rawls Vick. An Army veteran of World War II, he retired from Franklin Equipment Co. and was a member of Mount Horeb United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include a sister, Lillian V. Bankard of Cambridge, Md.; a brother, Harvey Fenton Vick of Hopewell, Va.; two nieces and four nephews. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Poplar Spring Cemetery by the Rev. Kenneth Williams. Wright Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
