Marcia Hundley Vick , 82, died Nov. 26, 1997, in East Pavilion. 

Miss Vick was a lifelong resident of Southampton County and daughter of the late George B. and Gillie Hundley Vick . A 1936 graduate of Longwood College, she was a retired elementary school teacher having taught in the Carrsville and Courtland elementary schools. She was a member of Sebrell United Methodist Church. 

Miss Vick is survived by a sister-in-law, Dorothy B. Vick of Franklin; two great-nephews, George V. Owen of Lynchburg, and Grayson H . Owen of Richmond; and several cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, George B. Vick Jr. 

The graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Poplar Springs Cemetery by the Rev. James Smith. The family will receive friends at 7 p.m. Saturday in Wright Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of MarciaVick may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 20 Koger Executive Center, Suite 233, Norfolk, Va. 23502-4006 or the Sebrell United Methodist Church.
