ROBERT WAYNE VICK

Robert Wayne Vick, 50, died July 24, 2005, at his residence. A lifelong
resident of Courtland, he was the son of Eugenia "Gene" Kauffman Vick
and the late George W. "Bill" Vick. Wayne was a graduate of the
Tidewater Academy, a member of Manry Hunt Club and a member of the
Courtland United Methodist Church. He was the former owner of the
Courtland Appliance and Service Center. Surviving in addition to his
mother are a sister, Kimberly V. Finch and her husband James of
Huntsville, Ala., and one niece, Kira Melissa Finch. A funeral will be
conducted at 5 p.m. Thursday at Courtland United Methodist Church with
the Rev. Kay Barstow Gentry officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside
Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence. Wright
Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
