Lizzie Mae Slade Wade, 85, died Feb. 26, 1992, in a Franklin hospital. 

Mrs. Wade was born in Southampton County and was a member of Millfield Baptist Church. She had formerly worked in the Berlin Cash Store. 

Survivors include her husband, Herman Wade; a daughter, Carolyn W. Drewry of Ivor; and a grandchild. 

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, by the Rev. Michael Harrell and the Rev. John Lennon. Burial will be in Millfield Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Memorial donations may be made to the church's memorial fund.
