Ada McClenney Warren, 81, died May 23, 1992, in a Courtland nursing home. 

Mrs. Warren was born in Isle of Wight County. She was the widow of Shafter Warren and was a member of Bethel Assembly of God. 

Survivors include a daughter, Susie Mae Wyatt of Smithfield; three sons, Earl Warren and Shirley Warren, both of Franklin, and Melvin Warren of Colonial Heights; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. 

The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. today in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. William Hawkins. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park . 

Memorial donations may be made to the Courtland Rescue Squad.
