Obituary of Thomas Jefferson Warren THOMAS J. WARREN Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - January 15, 2001 Thomas Jefferson Warren, 80, of the 1100 block of L. Forest Oak Lane, died Jan. 13, 2001. He was a native of Spotsylvania County, Va., and retired as an auto mechanic for Mike Duman Ford. He was a member of Ivor Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and was an accomplished guitar musician. Mr. Warren was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was the son of the late William Cecil Warren and Daisy Floyd Beale Warren. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Helen Lowe Warren of Suffolk; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jerry York of Charlotte, N.C.; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Ernestine Warren of Suffolk, Glenn and Linda Warren of Gates County, N.C., and Jerry Warren and Leslie of Suffolk; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sisters, Nellie Frazier and Grace Pritchard, both of Fredericksburg, Va. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by Michael Laine. Burial with military honors will be in Ivor Cemetery . Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at the residence. Contributions may be made to the Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad at P.O.
