Obituary of CHARLES EDWARD WEAVER Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, September 15, 1996 Charles E. Weaver, 61, of 547 Laurel St., died Sept. 14, 1996, at Southampton Memorial Hospital. Mr. Weaver was born in Rice, Va., and was the son of Geneva Craft Inge and the late Joseph Edward Weaver. He was a retired painter. Besides his mother, he is survived by a half-sister, Mary "Bobbi" Thomas of Franklin; a niece, Kay Weaver of Franklin; and a nephew, Steven Thomas of Virginia Beach. He was predeceased by a brother, James Weldon Weaver. A graveside funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Southampton Memorial Park by the Rev. James Lambeth. The family will receive friends at the residence, and suggests memorials may be made to the Franklin Presbyterian Church, 405 Lee St., Franklin, Va., 23851 or the Presbyterian Home, 150 Linden Ave., Lynchburg, Va. 24503.
