   Mrs. Katrine Williams Whitley, 83, of 200 W. Constance Road, died Monday, Sept. 6, 1993, in Hillhaven-Nansemond Convalescent Center. A native of Nansemond County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph T. Williams and Mattie Bartlett Williams. She was the widow of James Marvin Whitley. Mrs. Whitley was a retired secretary with John F. and John B. Pinner Insurance. Mrs. Whitley was a member of Suffolk Christian Church, the Constantia Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Bruce Havens. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
