A native of Greenville County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Sarah Douger Williams and the widow of Joseph H. Sharp. She was retired from Birdsong Peanut Factory and was a member of St. Paul Church of God in Christ and Camptown Senior Citizens, Franklin.
Survivors include her adopted son, Lionel R. Sharp of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at St. Paul Church of God in Christ, Emporia, by Elder Frank Butts. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park , Franklin. William M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc. is handling arrangements.
