She was a graduate of Madison College, a member of the Courtland Methodist Church, where she served as organist for several years, a member of the Franklin Garden Club, a past treasurer of the Southampton Historical Society and other civic organizations. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband, Judge Benjamin A. Williams Jr.; two sons, Benjamin A. Williams III and his wife, Nancy of Hampton and Dr. Robert B. Williams and his wife, Helen, of Richmond; four grandchildren, Johanna D. Williams, Benjamin Hunter Williams, Lucy M. Williams and Claire M. Williams; and a sister, Ethel M. Westbrook of Courtland . She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Roger and Emma White Millikin. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the residence in Courtland . A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Courtland Methodist Church, Main St., Courtland . Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery .
