Esparanza Maria Williams, infant daughter of Robert Heath Williams and Lisa Ward Williams of Chesapeake, was called home among the angels to be with the Lord Sept. 17, 1999. 

Survivors include a brother, Alex Williams of Chesapeake; maternal grandparents, Ellen and Harry Ellis and Marger Ward, all of Courtland; great-grandmother, Fannie Buckner of Courtland; paternal grandparents, Helen Dillard and Danny Godwin, both of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, John N. Ward Jr., formerly of Courtland. 

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Southampton Memorial Park , Franklin, with the Rev. Wayne Walton officiating. The family will receive friends this eveningat the residence, 3224 Meadows Way, Apt. 304, Chesapeake. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is in charge.
