Obituary of Frank Murdock "Tink" Williams FRANK MURDOCK WILLIAMS Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - February 17, 1999 Frank Murdock ''Tink'' Williams, 67, of the 300 block of Sherwood Drive, died Feb. 16, 1999, in his residence. A native of Nansemond County, he was the retired owner of Williams Distributing. He was a member of First Baptist Church, N. Main St., and a former member of Bethlehem Christian Church for over 60 years. He served as a deacon and attended the Adult Six Men's Class taught by Bill Kincaid. He was a 18-year member of the Virginia National Guard, Suffolk Unit. He coached fast pitch softball for Bethlehem Christian Church and Williams Distributing teams for many years. Mr. Williams was the son of the late Cecil G. Williams Sr. and Sadie Glauss Williams. He was predeceased by a brother, Cecil G. Williams Jr. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn J. Williams; two daughters and a son-in-lse, Phyllis W. and Glenn A. Hedgepeth of Suffolk and Sharon W. Green of Suffolk; four grandsons, Andrew, Brooks, Matthew Hedgepeth and Webb Green, all of Suffolk; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Marjorie W. and J.O. Davidson of Suffolk and Mary W. March of Carrsville; and a sister-in-law, Ann G. Williams of Carrsville. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles D. Melvin and Rev. Charles W. Thompson. Interment will be in Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family at Harrell Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and other times at the residence.
