FRANKLIN - Katherine Wade Williams, 37, died Nov. 21, 2002, at her home. Born in Bristol, Tenn., she was a 1984 graduate of Southampton Academy and a former veterinarian's assistant for Dr. Elwyn Irving. She was a lover of animals, especially her dog, Magic. Kathy was a member of Sunbeam Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her parents, Owen and Dorothy Felts Wade of Franklin; her sister, Susan Wade Okleshen and her husband, John Kirk, of Courtland ; a nephew, Casey Parker Okleshen; and two step-nieces, Kellye Ann and Megan Marie Okleshen. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Lillie Joyner Felts. 

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. John Watson officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery , Courtland . The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
