Wilmer Cary "Bill" Woodard, 77, of the 700 block of N. High St., a retired barber, died March 27, 1991, in a hospital. 

Mr. Woodard, a native of Margarettsville, N.C., retired from Ideal Barber Shop after 40 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church, Margarettsville. 

Survivors include his wife, Lois Harrell Woodard, and a sister, Hazel Garriss of Severn, N.C. 

The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Poplar Spring Cemetery by the Rev. Samuel Askew, the Rev. John Siegle and the Rev. Robert Fridley. Friends may join the family at the residence. Wright Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
