[In the left margin] 126 Wm Beale Will I William Beel of the Isle of Wight County in Virginia being sick and weak of Body but of Sound and Disposing mind and memory and calling to mind the uncertainty of this life and that it is appointed for all men to Dye, think proper to make constitute and ordain this my last Will & Testament in manner and form following, to wit: Item: I give Devise and bequeath unto my loving Wife Mary Beel % my two Daughters Priscilla and Mary Beel the use and profit of my Plantation and all my Land, During my Wife’s Life or widowhood, after her Death or widowhood I give it as followeth ~ Item: I Give Devise and Bequeath to my Daughter Mary Beel the Plantation and with half the Land, wherein I now live, also my Negro Girl slave named Rachel and my still with all its utensils to her and her increase for ever ~ Item: I Give Devise and Bequeath unto my Daughter Priscilla Beel the other half of my Land, also my Negro man slave named Sambo to her and her heirs for ever ~ It is my will and Desire that my Wife Mary Beel and my Two Daughters Priscilla & Mary have the use, profit and Labour of my above mentioned slaves During the above Limited time to my Wife Mary ~ All the rest of my Estate of what nature or kind soever after my just Debts are paid I give to be Equally Divided between my Wife Mary Beel and my two Daughters Mary & Priscilla Beel and their Heirs for ever ~ And Lastly I nominate and appoint my loving Wife Mary Beel my whole and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament as Witness of my hand and Seal this 31 Day of Oct. 1767.
