[In the left margin] (127) John Welch Will In the Name of God Amen I John Welch of the County of Isle of Wight being sick, and weak of Body yet in perfect and sound Mind and Memory do make & ordain this to be my last Will & Testament in manner & form following Imprimis: I give and devise that all my Estate of what soever (except one Bed & furniture) be sold immediately after my Death; and the Money arising by such sale together with what is due me and what Money is now in the House to be put out on Interest Item: My further desire is that my Executor hereafter named, support and Maintain my Wife Mary in a decent manner during her Natural Life out of the Interest of my Money as aforesaid. Lent out Item: I give and Bequeath after the Death of my said Wife Mary One fifth part of all my Money unto my Friend Richard Hardy whom I hereby Appoint whole Sole Exor of this my last Will and Testament; and the residue of my Money to be equally divided between William Bennet, James Bennet, Jesse Bennet, Thomas Bennet and Edmund Bennet Sons of my Sister Sarah Bennet Item: I lend the use of one Bed and Furniture to my Wife Mary Welch during her Natural Life; and after her Decease to be Sold and the Money applied the same as aforesaid. And I do hereby renounce, revoke and Disannul all other & former Wills by me heretofore made.
