Portsmouth - Virginia Eloise Jones Andrews, 98, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2015. 

Mrs. Andrews was born in Lynchburg, Va. and grew up in Wilson, N. C., the daughter of the late Warner W. "W. W. " Jones and Margaret Stiles Jones. She was the widow of James Edward "Jimmie" Andrews, Sr. since his death in 1962. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. 

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James E. Andrews, Jr. and Mary King Andrews; three grandchildren, Lori Andrews, Julie Bunting and husband Chris, Jennifer Scholes and husband John; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. 

A funeral service will be held at 2 p. m. Monday, Nov. 2, 2015 at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk, VA 23435. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. A family burial service will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope House Foundation, 801 Boush St. 302, Norfolk, VA 23510; or to a charity of choice. Condolences may be registered at BakerFoster.com.
