Lynda Bond Obituary Lynda Howell Bond July 31, 1941 - November 14, 2022 Franklin - Lynda Howell Bond, 81, left her earthly body and earned her wings on November 14, 2022. Born and raised in Franklin, she was a daughter of the late Dewey and Josephine Stephenson Howell. She was also predeceased by her husband, Edward Owen Bond, Sr.; a son, Edward Owen Bond, Jr.; a daughter, Elizabeth Bond Brinster; and a sister, Betty Cauley. Lynda was a 1959 graduate of Franklin High School and a graduate of Pan American Business College. She was the owner of B & B Cleaners and an accomplished seamstress. Lynda was a long-time member of the Courtland Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary, a member of the Eastern Star, a member of the Dry Cleaning and Laundry Institute, and enjoyed traveling the United States and abroad. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory is two daughters, Karen Ann Bond and Suzan Bond Quesenberry (Steve); two sisters, Amelia Howell Spivey (Everett) and Peggy Howell Johnson (Earl); four grandchildren, Brendan James Graff, Cameron Joseph Owen Graff, Colton Matthew Brinster, and Isabella Josephine Brinster; two great grandchildren, Bridget and Parker McKenzie; and a host of nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Friday, November 18, 2022 at Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Courtland. A reception will follow the burial in the Ladies Parlor at Franklin Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7PM Thursday at the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Baptist Church or Courtland Volunteer Fire Department.
