PETERSBURG, June 8- Lawrence B. Boykin, 62, who had resided in and near Petersburg for the last 40 years, died 7 JUN 1947. He was a native of Wilson Countv. N. C. 

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lottie M. Boykin; one daughter, Mrs. Earl Broadwell, of Stoe, Vt.: one stepson, James E. Wilcox of Petersburg; two brothers, Giddeon Boykin, of Wilson. N. C. and W. Boykin: two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Langley and Mrs. J. T. Farmer, both of Petersburg; several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral rites will be held at 5 P. M. Monday 9 JUN 1947 in the chapel of to J. T. Morris & Son. Burial will be in Blandford Cemetery.
