An Army veteran of World War II, he had been employed as a welder at the Ford Motor Co. Norfolk assembly plant for 24 years. He was a member of Colosse Baptist Church, Walters. VA. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Rachel Jenkins Bradshaw; a son, E. L. Bradshaw Jr. of Carrsville; six sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Carr, Mrs. Louise B. Pope, Mrs. Verna Carr and Mrs. Lois Carr of Carrsville, Mrs. Ruby Carr of Suffolk, and Mrs. Margaret Drake of Sedley, and four brothers, Morgan Bradshaw, Russell Bradshaw and Alfred Bradshaw of Suffolk, and Leroy Bradshaw of Franklin. A funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. in W. J. M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Joseph McTeer and the Rev. Arthur J. MacGahan.
