Howard Christian Bradshaw

Howard Christian Bradshaw, 46, died at his home near Windsor, Isle of Wight County, Tuesday night [1 June 1948] after a long illness.

He was the son of the late Jacob E. and Ada Stephenson Bradshaw and a member of Isle of Wight Christian Church.

Bradshaw is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cora Atkins Bradshaw; a daughter, Miss Catherine Ophelia Bradshaw; four sons, Douglas H. Bradshaw, Charles W. Bradshaw, Rawls M. Bradshaw and Mills E. Bradshaw, all of Isle of Wight County; two brothers, Raleigh C. Bradshaw, of Windsor, and J. D. Bradshaw, of Baltimore, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral procession will leave the Bullock Funeral Home Thursday [3 June 1948] at 2 p.m. for services at 3 p.m. (S.T.) at Antioch Christian Church with the Rev. H. E. Crutchfield, pastor, assisted by the Rev. T. N. Tombs. Burial will be in church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edwin Whitley, R. Holland, Thomas Hayes, J. Clinton Arrington, Walter C. Claude and M. O. Holland. Friends of the family will be honorary pallbearers.
