Mrs. Sorrell Buried New Years Day At Jakes Prairie 

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Olivia Sorrell of Owensville, Route 3, were conducted New Year's Day at a funeral home in Owensville with the Rev. Ward Rinehart officiating. Burial was in the Licklider Cemetery on Jakes Prairie.

Mrs. Sorrell was born February 1900 at Jakes Prairie a daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Mary Spurgeon Branson and died at Oak Hill December 30 after a lingering illness. She was married February 22, 1920 at Jakes Prairie to John A. Sorrell who survives. There were no children.

Also surviving are three brothers. Arville Branson and Wayne Branson of Cuba, Mo. and William Branson of Boody, Illinois.
