FAIRMONT Henyard L. Britt, 68, of Rt. 1, Fairmont, died Thursday [6 July 1961].

Funeral services will be at White Pond Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and Sunday School teacher, Friday [7 July 1961] at 4 p.m. Burial will follow in Floyds Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont. The Rev. J. W. Meares will be in charge.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leola Rowell Britt; four sons, Marvin and Hubert Britt of Fairmont, McDuffie A. Britt of Columbus, Miss., and H. L. Britt Jr., of Suffolk, Va.; six daughters, Mrs. Ruth Gerald of Holland, Va., Mrs. Myrtle Allen and Mrs. Virginia Frances of Franklin, Va., Mrs. Mattie Lou Hamilton of Acme, Mrs. Yates Warwick of Orrum, and Mrs. Marie Scott of Fairmont.
