DOROTHY MAE BRITTLE BURLINGTON 

Dorothy Mae Brittle, formerly of Burlington, died Sunday, March 18, 2001 in Rocky Mount. Born Feb. 22, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Paul Clenton Brittle. A graduate of UNC-G, Miss Brittle taught school in Elon and Burlington for 40 years. She was a longtime member of Front Street United Methodist Church. 

Survivors: niece, Betsy Blount of Charlotte; nephew, Paul and wife, Martha of Rocky Mount; great nephews, Thomas Blount and wife, Marsha of La Jolla, CA, David Blount and wife, Tracie of Franklinton. 

A memorial service will be held at Rich and Thompson Funeral Home, Burlington Sunday, March 25th at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Woodland, NC.
