William Patrick (Pat) Bryant 26 Feb 1947 - 12 Oct 1984 William Bryant William Patrick (Pat) Bryant, 37, a Manitowoc County Sheriff's Department deputy, Friday evening at the Veterans' Administration Hospital in Seattle, Wash. Mr. Bryant, a resident of 12429 Centerville Road, Cleveland, had been undergoing treatment for leukemia at Seattle since July. The treatments included bone marrow transplants. He had been diagnosed as having cancer about six years ago. His condition worsened a week ago when he contracted viral pneumonia. Mr. Bryant was born Feb. 26, 1947, at Manitowoc, a son of William A. and the late Norma Rudie Bryant. He was a 1965 graduate of Hale High School, West Allis. On June 14, 1974, he married Paig Dexheimer at Brillion. Mr. Bryant enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1966, serving in Vietnam, and during his duty there he received the Purple Heart twice, along with other medals of valor. After returning to the United States, he was employed as a security guard at the Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant at Two Rivers for several years. He then worked as a police officer in the City of Brillion. For the past nine years, Bryant has been employed as a sheriff's deputy in Manitowoc County. He was a member of the Manitowoc Policeman's Association. Mr. Bryant also served as constable of the Village of Cleveland for three years. He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post at Cleveland. Mr. Bryant started and coached the Cleveland Buc's Little League Pee Wee Team. Survivors include his wife; his father, William A. Bryant of Manitowoc; three brothers, Robert L. Randall, both of Manitowoc, and Grant of Milwaukee; four sisters, Mrs. Ronald (Lenore) Jost Sr. Cleveland, Rickie Jean Beilfuss , of West Allis, Mrs. Thomas (Katherine) Rozanski of Bayview, and 1 Candace Bryant of West Allis; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Florence Hansen Rudie of Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Richard E. Lind, pastor, will officiate. Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home, 628 N.
