Carr Blythe Obituary Lafayette Blythe's Widow Dies Here Mrs. Nannie H. Blythe, 74, widow of Lafayette Blythe, died at 3 o'clock this morning [6 December 1946] at her home in Nansemond County after an illness of several weeks. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. R. Roland Felton, Suffolk; Mrs. James W. Holland, and Mrs. Harvey Saunders, of Chuckatuck, and Mrs. Lester C. Burress, of Holland; four sons, Jasper Lee and Gilmer Blythe, of Holland; Stanley Blythe, of Suffolk and William Blythe, of Franklin; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, W. T. Carr, Norfolk, and J. A. Carr, of Walters. The body was taken to the Hill Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday [8 December 1946] afternoon with Rev. H. L.
