CHASE DIES IN SUFFOLK HOSPITAL Suffolk, Va., 13 April - Charles B. Chase, a prominent citizen of La Crosse, Va., died here today at 6 a.m. at Lakeview Hospital, after an illness of two weeks. Mr. Chase was 67 years of age and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R.C. Barrett of Suffolk and Mrs. James A. Brady of St. Louis, Mo.; two sons, Leo D. Chase of New York City and Charles B. Chase Jr. of Quincy, Ill. Mrs. Chase preceded her husband to the grave just four months ago. Mr. Chase was engaged in the manufacture of brick in La Crosse, Va., when he was taken ill. He was brought to Suffolk by his daughter, Mrs. R.C. Barrett, who was constantly with him until his death. The funeral services will be conducted at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Barrett, 706 Pearl Street, Wednesday morning, 15 April, at 10 o'clock, by Dr. F.H. Martin. The interment will be made in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
