BEAMAN  

Mrs. Mary Cobb Beaman, of 400 West First Ave., Franklin, died in a Chesapeake nursing home on Wednesday, 15 November 1972. She was the daughter of the late William M. and Margaret Darden Cobb and the widow of Herbert W. Beaman.  

She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ruby B. Bishop; one son, Walter E. Beaman of Virginia Beach; one sister, Mrs. Herman Howell; and one brother, Linwood Cobb, both of Franklin; and five grandchildren.  

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:30 PM at W. J. M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins. Burial will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery.
