CRICHTON  

Edward W. (Pretty) Crichton, Jr., 66, of Capron, died October 31, 1977, in Southampton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Mrs. Virginia C. Crichton, a member of Capron United Methodist Church and a retired farmer and carpenter.  

Surviving besides his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Barbara C. Gavin of Franklin; one son, George Edward Crichton of Germany; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Hawks Carson, Mrs. Margaret Powers of Virginia Beach, Mrs. Florence Cliett of Norfolk; two brothers, Fletcher B. Crichton of Capron, Dick Crichton of San Antonio, Texas; and four grandchildren.  

A funeral service will be held Wednesday 2 November 1977 at the graveside, Capron Cemetery, by the Rev. Van Cash, Wright Funeral Home handling arrangements.
