Lois Daughtrey Obituary Lois Anne Daughtrey August 17, 1927 - June 5, 2022 Franklin - Lois Anne Daughtrey, 94, went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2022. Born and raised in Southampton County, she was a daughter of the late James Carey Daughtrey and Dora Gardner Harcum Daughtrey. She was also predeceased by her husband, James Henry Daughtrey; two sisters, Doris Daughtrey Kirkland and Ethel Harcum Cobb; and two brothers, Julian and Robbie Harcum. Lois was a 1944 graduate of Franklin High School and a graduate of Fannie Webb Academy in Franklin. She was a bookkeeper for Whitley Hardware and Dail s Home Center for 45 years. She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church and loved her flowers and hummingbirds. Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Susan D. Lassiter (Charles); a son, James R. Daughtrey; four grandchildren, Jason L. Holloman (Katie), Carla A. Thomason (Scott), Joshua C. Lassiter (Heather), and Rachel K. Parker (Trent); and six great grandchildren, Madison, Hannah, Kendall, Marilyn, Kylie, and Clayton. A Graveside Service will be held at 11AM Friday, June 10, 2022 at Sycamore Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tracey Pugh and Dr. Reginald Warren officiating.
