Patterson of Waldorf, Md.; a son, Walter B. Ellis of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha E. Brown of Ivor, and Mrs. Terri E. Kane of Maryland; a half-sister, Mrs. Hazel Vasser of Orange, Calif.; two brothers, Joseph Ellis of Norfolk, and Carlton Ellis of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; a half-brother, Lyman Ellis of Danville; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. T. A. Powell. Burial will be in the Southampton Memorial Park, Southampton County.
