William N. English Franklin, April 6- Mr. William N. English, 66, well-known retired farmer, of Walters Community, died at Mayview Hospital, Portsmouth on Thursday night after an illness of one week. Mr. English was the son of the late Joseph H. Mattie Carr English, of Walters Community, and hus band Mrs. Lethia Howell Eng. lish, of Walters, Carmel a life long member of Mt. Christian Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, A. D. of Churchland; William H. English, of Windsor, and Matthew D. English, of Camden, S. C.; 12 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. L. H. Howell, of Franklin, a brother, J. H. English, of Walters. The remains were taken to the funeral home of W. J. M. Holland and Sons, of Franklin, and on Sunday afternoon will be taken to Mt. Carmel Cemetery, of Walters, for graveside services. Rev. Ellis Clark and Dr. I. W. Johnson will officiate,.
