Willie Evans Obituary Willie Evans, Jr., 84, of Suffolk, Virginia, peacefully passed away on January 13, 2022. He is predeceased by his father, Will Evans and mother, Addie Bright Evans; sisters, Sue Eaton and Jane Spivey and brother, McCoy Evans. Willie, known as Junior to family and Pepaw to many, loved his family dearly, never met a stranger and was a man who loved the land. Farming the land, harvesting the crops, and tending to the animals was truly his passion and he made a life doing what he loved. Willie has long been the heart, soul, and smile of Evans Farms and his legacy will continue to live on through his cherished family. Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life, his wife of 63 years, Nell Oliver Evans; daughter, Jenell Evans Miller and son, Lee Evans; grandsons Christopher Evans and Travis Evans; three great granddaughters; sister, Francis Lassiter; numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
