He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice Kitchen Ferguson; seven daughters. Mrs. Kelly Holland and Mrs. Gus Holland, of Holland; Mrs. L. K. Moore and Mrs. Floyd Ferguson, Portsmouth; Mrs. James Fuller, of Courtland, and Mrs. C. C. Thorpe and Miss Ethel Mae Ferguson, of Newsoms; five sons, Hugh L., Robert and James of Newsoms; Howard Ferguson, of Windsor, and Tizle Ferguson, of Capron, 25 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Monday [23 JUN 1947] at 3 p. m. at graveside in the Newsoms Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Hughes.
