Mel was a former office manager for Wright Funeral Home and was a lifelong member of Boykins Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Michael Thurman Griffin, a niece, Megan Griffin, and a host of cousins. A Graveside Service will be held at 4PM Monday, November 7, 2022 in Beechwood Cemetery with Pastor Brooks Gale officiating.
